truly enjoyed our stay here and recommend. had a such wonderful stay during a cape town visit, everything was great. the hotel has marvellous location near shops, the famous manhattan restaurant and bar, shopping area and long street, and both the city centre and the waterfront.

Convenient and absolutely perfect location safe in the area too, suited the needs.

the hotel was in a magnificent and amazing location, in the event that i arrived feeling sereverly ill. besides, it was close to the famous manhattan restaurant and the city centre, the stunning mountains and hills.

The staff here are friendly and attentive, and the location is great, just 2 km away from a popular shopping mall, with the city center not too far off either.

room service was non-existant. for that sort of money you expect staff to come in each day, tidy up the room, change towels where necessary and refill the coffee and tea sachets. they didn't do it. we went at world cup so you would expect a price-hike but even so the price was a bit too much relative to other places

I had a fantastic stay at this venue with a spacious superior room and an amazing view.

The Charles was a charming guesthouse right in the town's Waterkant section. We loved the views from the rooftop decks and the room was unique. Kenny was especially helpful.

We didn't have a phone, radio, or clock in the room but were able to use our cell phone as an alarm. We also could not get more than 2 stations on the TV. These were minor issues.

The setup is unique and interesting. It is good value for the price paid.

No table, no phone, and no heat in the room. Lack of heating could be a problem if it gets colder that it was during my stay. Also, Internet access was intermittent, and my room was not covered by the free WiFi signal.

The rooms are gorgeous and come with comfy beds. the location is convenient as you can find cutlery in the rooms for your takeout meals 🍴.
